EU Withdrawal Button Terms

1. Provider and scope

These terms apply to the EU Withdrawal Button Shopify app provided by Zentric Digital ApS, CVR 45784274, Amerika Plads 25, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark ("Zentric", "we", "us").

The app helps Shopify merchants offer a storefront withdrawal/cancellation mechanism, verify requests against Shopify order data, calculate configured withdrawal deadlines, send durable-medium confirmation emails with PDF records, and maintain a merchant dashboard and audit trail.

2. Shopify public app billing

For installations of the public Shopify App Store version of the EU Withdrawal Button, subscription fees are charged through Shopify App Pricing or Shopify Billing as shown in Shopify during installation or plan selection. No separate off-platform payment is required to use the public Shopify App Store app.

Direct Stripe, SEPA, or invoice billing may be used only for separately contracted services, temporary custom-distribution bridge installations, or non-App-Store services that are not part of the public Shopify App Store billing flow.

3. Merchant responsibilities

The app is a compliance-support tool and does not constitute legal advice. You remain responsible for your own consumer-law, e-commerce, refund, return, and data-protection compliance, including:

• confirming whether and how an online withdrawal mechanism is legally required for your business;
• reviewing withdrawal wording, deadlines, exclusions, translations, and store policies with your counsel;
• configuring the app correctly for your products, storefront, locales, sender settings, and support process;
• responding to withdrawal requests and handling refunds, returns, or follow-up manually or in connected systems;
• updating your store privacy notice to describe this processing and any chosen email-sending posture.

4. Data processing agreement

For personal data processed in withdrawal records for your store customers, you are the controller and Zentric acts as processor. You must complete the in-app onboarding and accept the data processing agreement before offering the withdrawal button to consumers. The app may re-prompt you when the DPA materially changes.

5. Support

Support is available by email at support@zentric.digital. Support covers app faults and configuration help. It does not include legal advice.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to operate the app with reasonable skill and care, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, improve, or maintain the app at any time. Where practicable, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes or planned downtime.

7. Uninstall, export, and deletion

If you uninstall the app, Shopify privacy webhooks may trigger deletion or redaction of store data after uninstall. Because withdrawal records may be legal evidence for your business, export records before uninstalling if you need to retain them. The app provides merchant-visible records, CSV export, and per-record PDF downloads.

8. Intellectual property

Zentric retains all intellectual property rights in the app, source code, documentation, and related materials. During your subscription, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your Shopify store in accordance with these terms.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided as a technical compliance aid, not as a guarantee of legal compliance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zentric is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, or loss of business opportunities arising from use of the app.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law, and the courts of Denmark have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.

11. Relationship with general website terms

These EU Withdrawal Button Terms apply specifically to the Shopify app. The general Zentric Digital website terms continue to apply to use of the public website where relevant. If there is a conflict for the public Shopify app, these app-specific terms control.
